White Eagle Hall:

White Eagle Hall capacity:
The hall capacity is almost 400 seated theater style, 800 standing or 150-190 seated banquet style. The inner perimeter of the hall is enclosed by a balcony level that offers breathtaking views and can provide additional seating.
Construction:
White Eagle Hall was built by Polish immigrants and craftsmen under the guidance of Rev. Peter Boleslaus Kwaitowski, who established several perishes in Northeastern New Jersey. The facade of the building is decorated with busts of Polish heroes. There are two glass skylights, one celebrating Frederic Chopin, and the other Marcella Sembrich.
White Eagle Hall sound technology:
With the current sound technology set up, WEH generates an almost echo-free environment with enhanced acoustic clarity. The stage’s sound panel has its own discreet ground, which suppresses unwanted hums. Other characteristics include sound isolation springs in the floors and walls, specially made sound diffusion and absorption panels on the ceiling, and sound isolation springs on the roof top HVAC unit, which reduces the noise from air conditioning or heating. Sound-diffusing properties are present in even the fully restored and conserved dimpled tin ceilings. White Eagle Hall meets one of the highest industry standards for sound decay, with a 1.2 millisecond level, by utilising a system of sound absorption, isolation, and diffusion. Almost all incidental reverberations, unwanted noise, and echo are eliminated. White Eagle Hall has a state-of-the-art D&B Audiotechnik public address system. A front of house mix position with governed light and sound was developed by the WEH restoration. Because of its sunken design, which is below the balcony, sound and lighting professionals can work with more precision and still have unhindered audience sightlines. Because the mixing console and PA system are fully interconnected, technicians can operate the lights and sound remotely from anywhere in the hall using a tablet. This also allows for flexible mix positions. The POE LED House lights at White Eagle Hall can show the entire colour spectrum. The LED theatrical lights are managed by a MADOT2 lighting board and offer both modern intelligent lighting and analogue dimming flexibility for “old school” lighting effects.
Parking:
White Eagle Hall does not provide on-site parking. It has limited complimentary parking. If lot is full, free street parking is available in the neighbourhood. Some street parking has one or two hour limit. Don not park on the West side of the building because it does not belong to White Eagle Hall. The closest parking is at 383 4th Street, Jersey City.
