• Professional basketball:

The Prudential Center was primarily home of the New Jersey Nets, but the team was sold to real estate developer Bruce Ratner. The Nets finished an agreement to relocate to the Prudential Centre following the victory of the preseason games held there. Nets played their last game at Prudential Center. Fans of the New Jersey Devils can attend Fan Fest on Championship Plaza outside Prudential Centre prior to each home playoff game.
